Leah has been working in wellness and fitness for more than a decade - teaching ballet and modern dance, Barre, HIIT fitness classes, and yoga with a specialization in prenatal and postnatal yoga.
She discovered a passion for nurturing women through pregnancies and beyond in 2015 when she was pregnant with her son Edison. As a professional dancer and general fitness enthusiast, she was curious to see how pregnancy would shift her ability to engage in her usual movement practices and how she could adapt these practices to accommodate pregnancy and recovery postpartum - with specific knowledge of how to adapt for recovery from a c-section and diastases. Leah received her pre and post natal yoga training from Cybele Tomlinson and Baby Bliss, has extensive knowledge of anatomy and somatics from years of dance training, as well as extensive pre/postnatal fitness training at LUNA (and is currently in the process of becoming certified in Women's Fitness and Nutrition through NASM). She also has over three years of experience wrangling a rambunctious kiddo and navigating the constantly morphing challenges of motherhood. Leah's classes mimic what she has always been drawn to - fitness routines that engage the full body and breath and are accessible and fun for all bodies.
