Founder | CEO
Sarah is a mother of two, Certified Personal Trainer, Pre & Postnatal Fitness Expert, Diastasis Recti & Core Rehabilitation Specialist, Childbirth Educator, and the creator of LUNA Mother Co.
"My passion for working with womxn and mothers stems deep. I am no stranger to the struggles many people face when it comes to getting pregnant. My husband is a two time cancer survivor, and while the treatments he went through ultimately saved his life, they also left him unable to have children naturally. We knew this was a possibility and took the necessary precautions before his treatment began to be able to have a family in the future. I went through three rounds of IVF total and four frozen embryo transfers along my journey to becoming mama to both of my children.
My first birth was nearly two days long with an intense postpartum
healing stage. I had a 4 finger diastasis recti that went undiagnosed by my OBGYN and NP. I finally did my own research and discovered it for myself. With the help of my physical therapist and diligently working to rehabilitate my core, I was able to heal my diastasis. It was through my own pregnancy and postpartum experience that I recognized the huge lack of care there is for perinatal people and I made it my mission to fill that void by offering people with the education, tools, and resources to have a more comfortable pregnancy, smoother birth, and easier postpartum healing. I used my methodology throughout my second pregnancy, and as a result was pain-free and able to keep up with my son throughout. My daughter's birth was a rapid and intense two hours in total with just a few minutes of pushing before she arrived, en caul! My postpartum recovery was much smoother and easier the second time around, and I owe it all to LUNA, and seeing my Physical Therapist both during my pregnancy and postpartum.
I am truly passionate about empowering womxn to feel strong, confident, and powerful in their journeys into and through motherhood." - Sarah

Nan is a Movement+ Life Coach in the SF Bay Area. She helps people design their lifestyles in ways that are most congruent with their highest values. Originally from upstate New York, Nan began her career in the digital advertising industry in Manhattan, NY, just after graduating from SUNY Oswego in 2006. She completed her undergrad with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcasting & Mass Communication and fun fact: was the President of her sorority. After 7 years of “faking the funk” in the industry, Nan got real with herself and decided to let go of being in a job that didn’t fulfill her or speak to her purpose – and resigned. With the loving nudge from her Mentor at the time, Mastin Kipp, she continued on her new courageous path and left NYC for the west coast, where she began to pursue a career in neurocentric movement training in San Francisco, CA. Now, Nan is a full time Coach, with an emphasis on movement, helping people discover who they are and what really matters to them. "I believe that the body is a vehicle of expression and is meant to be moved."
Registered Yoga Instructor | Kids Yoga & Dance
Leah has been working in wellness and fitness for more than a decade - teaching ballet and modern dance, Barre, HIIT fitness classes, and yoga with a specialization in prenatal and postnatal yoga. She discovered a passion for nurturing people through pregnancies and beyond in 2015 when she was pregnant with her son Edison. As a professional dancer and general fitness enthusiast, she was curious to see how pregnancy would shift her ability to engage in her usual movement practices and how she could adapt these practices to accommodate pregnancy and recovery postpartum - with specific knowledge of how to adapt for recovery from a c-section and diastases. She also has over three years of experience wrangling a rambunctious kiddo and navigating the constantly morphing challenges of motherhood. Leah's classes mimic what she has always been drawn to - fitness routines that engage the full body and breath and are accessible and fun for all bodies.
Nikki is an experienced cycle instructor and personal trainer who brings her own awesome flair into every class that she teaches. Her teaching style is rhythm based, upbeat, and super fun! Nikki is originally from South Carolina where she was an actress and musician. She relocated to the SF Bay Area in 2013 where she shifted gears and began her career in fitness and wellness, becoming a certified spin instructor and personal trainer. For Nikki, movement is a way of life. She surfs, she rollerskates, she skateboards, and she's awesome!
Laura's teaching path began when she took a yoga training in 2016. Though she never expected it to lead to anything beyond a deepened practice, she ended up with the gift of KNOWING she had to teach and it changed her entire life. Now a certified yoga, fitness and pilates instructor, motivating and connecting with others is Laura's absolute passion. She believes movement should be challenging, engaging and FUN, and her classes, playlists, and overall vibe reflect this philosophy. Laura's classes are challenging and welcoming with modifications offered to accommodate all levels, plus heartfelt encouragement to work at one’s own pace. When she's not teaching, you’ll likely find her laughing (or pulling her hair out) with her two boys Dylan (age 9) and Owen (age 6) in tow.
