Stephanie Tillman, CNM, MSN

Stephanie Tillman (pronouns: she/her) is a midwife at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree in Global Health and Medical Anthropology at the University of Michigan, and her graduate degree in midwifery at Yale University. She serves on the Boards of Directors of Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health and the Midwest Access Project, and is the former Chair of ACNM’s Gender Equity Task Force. Stephanie blogs under the name Feminist Midwife, and through that blog and her clinical practice seeks to engage providers and consumers in conversations about sex positivity, reproductive justice, queer care, empowerment and power-transfer, trauma-informed care, consent and values clarification.
